What Aspects of a Boy and Girl are Relevant to a Shidduch?

There were three major points that the Rebbe always emphasized to inquire about when you approach a Shidduch. Mainly, he was speaking about the individuals but also about the immediate family:

Gezunt / Health -  The health of the individual both physical and mental health.  Also, about the parents and their children.

Yiras Shamayim / Fear of Heaven  - The standard of yiras shamayim of the individual.

Midos Tovos / Good Character - What type of person are they? How good and kind are they? How giving are they? Are they able to socialize with other people?

Once the two individuals meet there are a number of other topics which should be discussed as they proceed. They should try to understand each other and see how compatible they are in regard to different topics. These topics will be enumerated in a forthcoming Scoop Tip.
